📂 Menu—EQUIPMENT

Overview

On the left side of the dashboard, you will find the Equipement section, displayed as a vertical navigation menu. By default, each module displays up to seven entries when you open it. If there are more than seven items available, you can also modify the number of displayed entries according to your preferences.

Together, these tools make the Equipment section a vital component of the platform, helping your organization prevent failures, ensure safety, and remain compliant while supporting efficient day-to-day operations.

MODULES INVOLVED

Equipement Calibration

Overview

💡

This section is only available to the Manager profile and Supervisor Profile.

The Equipment Calibration section is structured to document and formally approve the calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability:

  • Location – The facility or area where the equipment is located
  • Time – The date and time the calibration was performed
  • Description – Details of the equipment and calibration procedure
  • Completed By – The individual who performed or recorded the calibration
  • Approved By – The person responsible for reviewing and approving the calibration
  • Approval Date – The date the calibration was formally approved
  • Comments – Additional notes, observations, or follow-up actions

This section centralizes equipment calibration records for consistency and traceability.

Why it matters

It ensures equipment operates accurately and reliably, supports quality and safety compliance, prevents errors in production or testing, and maintains confidence in operational processes.

Step-by-step actions

1 — Open the Equipment Section

From the left-side dashboard menu, click on the Equipment section to access equipment-related modules.

2 — Select “Equipment Calibration”

Within the Equipment section, select Equipment Calibration to view existing equipment calibration records.

3 — View Calibration Checklist

Click the purple “View Checklist” button located at the top left of the page.

This displays the list of equipment calibration checklist items.

4 — Modify or Delete Calibration Items

To update an existing calibration item, click the green pen icon next to the item.

To delete a calibration item, click the red trash can icon.

5 — Create Equipment Calibration Items

Click the purple “Create Equipment Calibration Items” button.

A form will open where you can:

  • Select the Location
  • Select the Room
  • Select the Sub-Category
  • Add Equipment Checklist Item
  • Enter the Minimum Value
  • Enter the Maximum Value
  • Select the Unit
  • Select the Task Frequency
    • or

  • Upload an XLSX file

Once completed, click Submit to save the calibration items.

Preventive Maintenance

Overview

This section is only available to the Manager profile and Supervisor Profile.

The Preventive Maintenance section is structured to document and approve scheduled maintenance activities for equipment and facilities:

  • Location – The facility or area where maintenance is performed
  • Time – The date and time the maintenance was carried out
  • Description – Details of the maintenance tasks performed
  • Completed By – The individual who performed or recorded the maintenance
  • Approved By – The person responsible for reviewing and approving the maintenance
  • Approval Date – The date the maintenance was formally approved
  • Comments – Additional notes, observations, or follow-up actions

This section centralizes preventive maintenance records to ensure consistency and traceability.

Why it matters

It ensures equipment and facilities are properly maintained, reduces the risk of breakdowns, supports operational efficiency, and helps comply with safety and quality standards.

Once completed, click Submit to save the preventive maintenance items.

This will display the list of existing equipment.

  • Select the Location
  • Enter the Equipment

Click Submit to save the equipment.

New Equipement Inspection

This section is only available to the Manager profile and Supervisor Profile.

The Approve Equipment Inspection section is structured to document and formally approve inspections of equipment to ensure it is safe and operational:

  • Location – The facility or area where the inspection was conducted
  • Time – The date and time the inspection took place
  • Description – Details of the inspection findings and observations
  • Completed By – The individual who performed or recorded the inspection
  • Approved By – The person responsible for reviewing and approving the results
  • Approval Date – The date the inspection was formally approved
  • Comments – Additional notes, observations, or required corrective actions

This section centralizes equipment inspection approval records for consistency and traceability.

It ensures equipment is functioning correctly and safely, supports quality and regulatory compliance, prevents operational disruptions, and helps maintain product safety and reliability.

  • Category – The type or classification of the work order
  • Request – Details of the work requested or reported issue
  • Due Date – The expected completion date for the work
  • Equipment – The specific equipment involved
  • Type – The nature of the work (e.g., repair, maintenance, calibration)
  • Attachment – Any supporting documents or files
  • Description – Detailed explanation of the work to be performed
  • Checklist – Steps or items to verify during completion
  • More – Additional notes or relevant information

This section centralizes work order records to ensure tasks are clearly defined, tracked, and completed efficiently.

Why it matters

It ensures timely and accurate execution of maintenance and operational tasks, improves accountability, prevents equipment downtime, and supports overall operational efficiency and safety.

  • Select the Type
  • Select the Due Date
  • Enter the Request
  • Attach a Work Order File
  • Enter Comments

Once completed, click Submit to create the work order.
