The Approve Quality Control section is structured to document and formally approve quality control checks for products or ingredients:
- Location – The facility or area where the quality control check is performed
- Time – The date and time of the quality control activity
- Product / Ingredient – The specific product or ingredient being tested or checked
- Lots – Batch or lot numbers for traceability
- Description – Details of the quality control procedure and observations
- More – Additional notes, findings, or relevant information
This section centralizes quality control approval records to ensure consistency and traceability.
Why it matters
It ensures products and ingredients meet quality standards, supports food safety and regulatory compliance, detects deviations or defects early, and provides documented evidence for audits and continuous improvement.
Step-by-step actions
1 — Open the Quality Section
From the left-side dashboard menu, click on the Quality section to access quality-related modules.

2 — Select “Quality Control”
Within the Quality section, select Quality Control to view existing quality control records.

3 — View Checklist
Click the purple “View Checklist” button.
This displays the list of quality control checklist items.

4 — Modify or Delete Checklist Items
To update an existing checklist item, click the green pen icon next to the item.
To delete a checklist item, click the red trash can icon.

5 — Create Quality Control Items
Click the purple “Create Quality Control Items” button.
A form will open where you can:
- Select the Location
- Select whether it is a Product or an Ingredient
- Select the specific Products or Ingredients
- Add a Quality Control Checklist Item
- Specify if the check is Sensory or Measurement
- Enter Comments
Once completed, click Submit to save the quality control items.


6 — Modify or Delete Quality Control Items
From the checklist page or the item list, you can modify or delete any existing quality control items by clicking the green pen or red trash can icons.
